Frequently Asked Questions

When should I RSVP by?

Stay tuned!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin at 3:00 PM, so we kindly ask that you arrive between 2:30 and 2:45 PM to ensure you have plenty of time to settle in before we start!

Are children invited?

We love all of our friend’s and family’s children! However, we’re hoping to create an atmosphere that’s focused on celebration and dancing the night away, and to do that, we’ve decided to invite guests aged 13 and older with the exception of the wedding party. This decision is to ensure that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening without distraction. We hope you understand, and we’re so excited to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a plus one?

We’re only able to accommodate plus ones if it’s specifically indicated on your invitation. When you RSVP and enter your name, you’ll see if you’ve been invited to bring a guest. We’re keeping the celebration intimate with our closest friends and family, and we appreciate your understanding!

Can I take pictures throughout the ceremony and reception?

To help us stay fully present during the ceremony, we’ve chosen to have an ‘unplugged’ ceremony. We kindly ask that you turn off or silence your phones during this time. We’ve hired an amazing photographer to capture all the special moments, and we’d be happy to share the pictures with you upon request! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like during cocktail hour and the reception!

Is there a dress code?

We’re excited to celebrate with you in style, so we kindly ask that you dress up for the occasion with us! The ceremony will take place outdoors, so please consider the weather when choosing your outfit. The reception will be in a tent with fans to keep things cool, and you can also head into the mansion for air conditioning throughout the night. We want everyone to look their best while staying comfortable, so light, breathable fabrics are a great choice!

Will you be providing food and drinks?

Yes, we’ll be providing food and drinks throughout the evening! During cocktail hour, we’ll have passed hors d'oeuvres, and the open bar will offer spirits, beer, and both red and white wine. For non-alcoholic options, there will be plenty of drinks and coffee available. Dinner will be served buffet-style, and after the ceremonial cake cutting, dessert will be served for everyone to enjoy!

Where do I park when I get there?

There are several parking options available! You can park in the two event parking areas or the township parking lot, which is right next to the chapel. Please avoid parking on the lawn or sidewalks, and keep driveways clear for emergency vehicles. If you need to leave your car overnight, it’s fine to park in the township lot, but we kindly ask that it be removed by 10 AM the next morning. Thanks for helping us keep everything running smoothly!
